Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: 8 September 2025

This Privacy & Cookie Policy (the “Policy”) explains how Diginz collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you access or use our websites, applications, and services. It is designed to comply with global privacy standards, including GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), and other applicable laws.

1) Data Controller & Hosting

Diginz operates its services using the Perfect Panel infrastructure. Our servers are hosted with OVH SAS (France/EU). For GDPR purposes, Diginz is the “data controller” of your personal data. OVH SAS acts as a hosting provider/data processor.

2) Information We Collect

We collect and process only the information necessary to operate, secure, and improve our services:

  • Account Data: Username, email address, telephone number.
  • Technical Data: IP address, estimated location (derived from IP), device/browser information, session dates.
  • Service Data: Orders placed, payment history (amounts, method, status), panel usage logs.
  • Analytics Data: Interaction data collected via Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica, and Google Tag Manager scripts for statistical and performance purposes.

We do not collect or store plaintext passwords, card numbers, social media login credentials, OAuth tokens, government IDs, or sensitive biometric data.

3) How Passwords Are Handled

Your Diginz account password is never visible to administrators or staff. It is stored only in hashed and salted form within our database, under the technical control of OVH SAS servers. No one at Diginz can view your original password.

4) How We Use Your Data

  • To operate and maintain your account, process orders, and deliver services.
  • To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
  • To monitor system performance, detect fraud or abuse, and enhance security.
  • To send transactional notifications (e.g., order confirmations, account alerts).
  • With your consent, to send marketing communications (opt-out available at any time).
  • To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from public authorities.

5) Legal Basis for Processing

  • Contractual necessity: To provide the services you request (account, orders, payments).
  • Legitimate interests: To secure our services, prevent fraud, and improve performance.
  • Consent: For analytics cookies and optional marketing communications.
  • Legal obligations: To comply with tax, accounting, and law enforcement requirements.

6) Data Retention

We retain account and order data for as long as your account is active and as necessary for legitimate business purposes or legal obligations. Logs and analytics data may be retained for shorter, rolling periods (typically 12–24 months). You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Your Rights).

7) Data Sharing & Disclosure

  • Service Providers: Payment processors, infrastructure providers (e.g., OVH SAS), and analytics providers.
  • Legal Requests: We may disclose data when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale, your data may be transferred subject to safeguards.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

8) Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for login, session management, and order processing.
  • Analytics Cookies: Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica, and Google Tag Manager scripts collect aggregated visit statistics.
  • Preference Cookies: To remember your settings (e.g., language, dashboard preferences).

You can manage cookie preferences via your browser settings and opt-out of analytics where legally required by cookie banners or consent tools.

9) Your Rights

  • EEA/UK Users: GDPR rights include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. You may also lodge complaints with your local data protection authority.
  • California Residents: Rights under CCPA/CPRA include knowledge, deletion, correction, and opting out of data sharing/sale (we do not sell data).
  • Other Regions: We respect applicable local privacy rights.

To exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@diginz.example.

10) Data Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no online system is 100% secure. Please use a strong, unique password and enable available security features. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately.

11) International Data Transfers

Our servers are hosted with OVH SAS in the EU. If we transfer data outside the EU/EEA/UK, we use lawful transfer mechanisms (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).
